I’ve been a bodging and a fettling and am quite proud of my latest item for sale.
Get the trumpet fanfare ready………. I give you The Mini Camshaft Light. I’ve turned the two wooden pieces from mahogany which have then been sanded, polished, varnished and finished. The hardest bit was making sure that the base and the top were good snug fits, that and getting the bloody wire to come through the wood.
The piece is very tactile and I hope that at only £75 it won’t be on the shelves too long – even my wife thinks it could have house room and not just be a man cave piece – praise indeed. The small boy, the one in the glass on the table is a nice 12 year old and is going to be by way of celebration once I’ve finished with all the admin, website updates, facebook mess around and twitter malarky.
Have a great weekend, and if you are around Lancashire, be sure to check out the Alston Hall Craft market this Sunday 11-4pm. (June 1st).
