Crafty Vintage – Weekender – Brockholes Nature Reserve J31 M6

The weekends are coming thick and fast – get your craft wallets, purses and credit cards primed and ready. Over 100 stalls, scrummy food and cabaret acts, yes, cabaret acts through the day, you know you need to get to Brockholes.

I love this fair as there is a real eclectic mix of all sorts. Obviously there are plenty of the best of traditional crafts, there is then the more left field. My more bonkers lamps and lights from car parts look positively normal. See you there today 30th, or tomorrow, white rabbits, 1st December.

Sneeky Peek – Capri Desk Tidy / Lamp

It’s not finished yet, needs some paint to top it all off, but here is a “sneeky peek” of the 4.2 Litre Ford Capri piston, possibly off a vinyl roofed tan car (the coolest one ever), transformed into a light and desk tidy. It’s a heavy bleeder and will cost a lot to post, but for £55 (plus p+p) what better way to have a unique, uber cool desk tidy?

African Blackwood

I’ve got one of the last legal crates of African Blackwood in Lancashire. Slimline pens are back in stock as well. Available in either plain (£15) or with growth wood, stunning black and yellow / white (£17.50), gimme a shout if you want to have some of the last of this lovely ethically, and hence, legally sourced wood.

Love Craft Lancashire

I’ll be at the monthly craft event in Fishergate, on Sunday 6th October.

George and David have been on the phone asking for me to help fix the economy and I’ve promised to help.

They say enterprise and profit are not dirty words, so I’m happy to tell you that my new improved pricing (for me) will be fully operational from 1st November. This means that this is the last chance (in Fishergate) to get my pre-price increase prices. Get in early for Christmas, get a bargain, and I’ll see you all there!

Turnedoutnice – have you never googled yourself?

Image

Just done some business administration and have verified the business with Google. This means that going onto the map you can now look for Turnedoutnice and can find the website, contact details and even get a little marker.

To make sure it worked, and not for the “have you never Googled yourself?” I Googled it.

I know that the economy is mostly broken, I know that the view is pessimistic, but try it, see if you get the same result as me – go to maps and type in “Turnedoutnice” – looks like I’m the only one who thinks it will turn out nice in the end!

I quite like being original!

Now that’s original, shame the rest of the world thinks we’re screwed.

Have a great weekend!

Afternoon Out

Just had a lovely afternoon out with my children, beautiful wife, and my in laws to Victoria baths in Manchester. A quirkier place you could not wish to find – well worth a look around but don’t take your swimmers there’s no water in the pools!

Here’s something you already knew but thought I’d let you know again as well. Have a great week!

Gold or Silver? #1YrOn #London2012

You can decide which colour without having to win or come second! There has been a lot in the media and around twitter with the one year anniversary and the legacy games last weekend. With that in mind I dug out my accreditations and photographed the latest out of the man cave. Short bullet pens in either a silver or gold finish.

SilGold3

You can see African Blackwood and Rosinga, other woods are available. Get in touch. £10 delivered per pen, and I think, but I’m not sure, that I’d go for second placed silver for the first time in my life!

Have a great day and see you at the Craft Takeover of Fishergate all day tomorrow. PR1 8HJ
